Collection: Organic Cotton Muslin Nappies

The cloth nappy, or langot, is what many of us grew up in, and for good reason: soft cotton against the skin, no plastics, and nothing to throw away. Ours are cut from layered organic cotton muslin, made in India, so they absorb well and dry quickly. They're tie-on, sized for the first few months, and printed to match our jablas beautifully. Many parents use them at home during the day and switch to disposables at night — a perfectly good routine that works well for most families.

How many do I need?
Twelve to fifteen for daytime use in the first months.

Are they better than disposables?
Better for the skin and for the bin; disposables win at night and when travelling. Most families use both.

How do I wash them?
Rinse, machine wash warm, line dry. No fabric softener.
