Wash Care

The Cozy Nest is designed for easy care. It comes with a waterproof protector in a matching print, which keeps the mattress fresh and extends the life of your nest.

The mattress rarely needs washing; simply air it out from time to time. For the occasional spill or accident, wash with a mild detergent as follows:

Cover: machine wash cold, hang to dry.
Bolster: machine wash cold, lay flat to dry.
Mattress: hand wash cold, lay flat to dry.

Remove the mattress and bolster from the cover before washing. Make sure every part is completely dry before reassembling, as dampness can lead to mould.

Cozy nest - Counting Sheep

Cozy and practical

Great product. Baby loves it

It's amazing for travel

Our baby LOVES the Cozynest. It's amazing for travel because he is comforted by a piece of home and a familiar environment.

Portable product

The cozy nest's portability is fantastic. We can easily move it around the house, allowing our baby to nap in any room while still feeling snug and at ease

How do I wash it, and can I buy spare covers?

Remove the mattress and bolster from the cover first. The cover and bolster can be machine washed cold with a mild detergent; hang the cover to dry and lay the bolster flat. The mattress only needs airing out occasionally, but if needed, hand wash it cold and lay it flat to dry. Make sure everything is fully dry before reassembling. Spare covers are available in a variety of prints, so you can always keep a fresh one ready.

What can I use the Cozy Nest for?

The Cozy Nest is designed for supervised lounging, play, naps, and tummy time, giving your baby a comfortable space of their own while you stay close by. It's lightweight and comes with a carry bag, so it's easy to take along when you travel.

Can my baby sleep or co-sleep in the Cozy Nest?

Your baby can nap in the Cozy Nest while you're with them. For overnight sleep, or any time you can't supervise, move your baby onto their back in their own cot or bassinet.

Where should I place the Cozy Nest?

Always on a flat, firm surface, such as the floor, away from edges. Never place it inside a cot, cradle, jhula, pram, or on a raised surface.

Which size should I choose?

The 0–8 month size suits newborns and young babies, and the 9–18 month size gives growing babies more room. Both sizes have adjustable ties at the base, so you can start with the nest snugly tied and loosen it as your baby grows.

Can I use it once my baby starts rolling over?

Always place your baby on their back in the nest, except during supervised tummy time. Once your baby can roll over or climb out, stay especially close, and move up to the larger size or a cot when needed.

Can I add a pillow or blanket inside the nest?

No. Please don't place pillows, including head-shaping or mustard seed (rai) pillows, blankets, quilts or toys inside the nest. If you have concerns about your baby's head shape, speak to your paediatrician.

Is it comfortable in hot and humid weather?

The organic cotton cover is soft and breathable. As with any baby product, dress your baby lightly and appropriately for the room temperature.

Is a mosquito net available?

Yes. A mosquito net that fits the Cozy Nest is available as an optional add-on. Make sure it's securely fitted and doesn't rest on or hang near your baby.

What is it made of, and what comes in the box?

The outer cover is organic cotton, the bolster is filled with polyfibre, and the mattress is firm 4 cm PU foam. Each Cozy Nest comes with a waterproof protector in a matching print and a carry bag. Proudly made in India.
